In order to improve the productivity and performance of your teams, you can consider the following tips.

  1. Carry out a Gap Analysis to identify the areas where specific knowledge, skills and abilities are lacking in your teams
  2. Design and deliver training, learning and development programs to fill in the gaps identified
  3. Coach your managers as part of your organizational development initiatives
  4. Play the role of a confidential resource and a sounding board for your managers in order to shape ideas, and to create momentum and energy
  5. Design and implement performance assessment and management systems and processes
